An album that disappointed you?

Recommended Posts

Artpop by Lady Gaga - Aura is… I can’t even, whatever

Chromatica by Lady Gaga - Had some cute bops but overall as a project fell flat.

The High Road by Kesha - After Rainbow, I expected more… much more.

Femme Fatale by Brit - Robotney in full effect. Seemed phoned in. I wish it had more tracks like He About To Lose Me.

Positions by Ariana Grande - a total snoozefest.

Younger Now by Miley Cyrus - her promo for this was a mess starting with her bashing her previous work and sharing how this was the *real her and …if this the real her, I prefer the fake her.

Lover by Taylor Swift - so basic and bland. The lyrics aren’t her best and Me! was corny and wack. Thank god for Folklore and Evermore though, those are her best records and made me forget about the mess of the Lover era.

Madame X by Madonna - What the **** is this album?

Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino by Arctic Monkeys - they completey abandoned their sound for some new funk wave **** and it was terrible.

Changes by Justin Bieber - a 5 year hiatus and he came back with this? Yummy was and is probably the flop lead single of the decade. Where is its award?

Im a major Madonna fan, and i'll debate anyone on American Life being under-rated AF, but this album is unbearable to me.

Florence Welch is my fav Brit. Her first two albums gave me this cosmic/spiritual energy and the third was was an alternative-rock surprise. Aside from the singles, this album puts me to sleep.

I was hoping Shania would give us amother "Come on Over", was expecting to get more of an "Up!"-qualilty album. instead we get ****.

Gaga's Chromatica was dissapointing for me, as it has less playability for me than her previous pop records.
T.Swift's Folk albums arent my genre - though i did expect to enjoy it more.
Kesha's "high road" was a bit 'mehhh' compared to her previous masterpieces.
Ariana's recent 2 R&B-geared album arent my liking with the exception of a few songs.

I actually forced myself to try to like it again (as with Harry Potter but this without effect). Now i must confess i love Doin' Time (not the version used for the music video).

Maybe other tracks will follow one day... lana del rey girl GIF

I find it very Melancholic. It's an album that you listen to when trying to reach your deepest emotions. I hope you'll enjoy it one day. Lana Del Rey Love GIF
