SIGN THE PETITION: Support Hearings on Court Ordered Conservatorships - #freebritney.

Hello fellow breatheheavy-ers. First I want to take a moment to give ourselves a little pad in the back for all the progress we've made with the #freebritney movement, we are a great team and will get justice for our queen.

Now, regarding the recent demand from Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Matt Gaetz urging Rep. Nadler (Chair of House Judiciary) to hold a hearing regarding court ordered conservatorships, we need to do our part as concerned citizens and let our house representatives know that we support this cause. (regardless of which political party you sympathize with) The process is simple, but we need to do it carefully and correctly. - this is a very serious matter and there is NO space for indecent language, stupid demands or nothing but professionalism.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE A US CITIZEN / RESIDENT AND REGISTERED VOTER IN YOUR STATE TO BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE AND SUPPORT THE DEMAND*** others who do not qualify can support the movement by sharing or using social media to RESPECTFULLY let representatives know this is also a concern of yours but do not SPAM the official routes if you do not qualify.

 

Please follow these steps to make your voice be heard, its your right.

STEP 1: find your representative at https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative by using your zip code and address.

STEP 2: once you've found your representative you should access their house.gov website and check for contact options for them, in my case my representative is Maria Elvira Salazar at https://salazar.house.gov and she has a contact option via the government website.

STEP 3: you'll be asked for your home address, email, name, and telephone number. Please fill out the fields accordingly.

STEP 4: you'll be asked what your message is, in this case you can chose the topic of concern as "judiciary" or "other issue" if its not available and chose the option that states that you do not want a response that you are just voicing your opinion (support).

STEP 5: you might write whatever you feel like writing but I suggest something short like "Hello my name is NAME, and I'm writing about the court appointed conservatorships abuse issue raised by Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Matt Gaetz urging Rep. Nadler (Chair of House Judiciary) to hold a hearing regarding court ordered conservatorships to express my support for the proposal. I hope my CONGRESSMAN/WOMAN does too. Thank you"

STEP 5: submit your opinion and share with friends / family.

 

This is the legal route / tool we have available to voice our opinion and support, this is how we help victims of conservatorship abuse and help make the USA a better place regarding of political affiliations. I submitted my message and if you feel like you want to support this as well, the above is my opinion / to the best of my knowledge the best way to do it; another option I can think of is to call the office and say the same message suggested above. They are required by law to make a record of your opinion.

As someone who's from Canada.. How does Rep Gaetz demand work? Does it hold any power tho to the conservatorship status? Will it affect Judge Penny decision in the future? Like how big of a deal is it?

Can't wait to put Vivian and Lou in prison of course.

what this means is that these representatives are asking congress to revise conservatorship law because they are worried it is being used incorrectly (abused) and cites the case of britney spears conservatorship as a case of possible abuse. - to be potentially investigated.

their goal is to get the conversation started (maybe even call britney herself to testify) and investigate conservatorships and its laws in general looking for areas that can be exploited; and ultimately revise these laws and change them if deemed necessary.

what the letter is asking is for the chair of house judiciary to begin this process. - that is the demand Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Matt Gaetz are making to Rep. Nadler (Chair of House Judiciary).

what we are doing by supporting this demand (the process of submitting your opinion to your representative as i explained above) is telling other members of congress that we agree with the demand made and that a conversation / hearing about possible conservatorship abuse should be started / had and that posible conservatorship abuse is a subject we're interested in.

Just emailed and I hope others do as well! This is how we get movement for Britney. The protests, tweets and online bi***ing can only go so far. We need people that make laws to get invested and put some heat behind it.
