It’s actually surprisingly good i was worried after ntft as that **** was atrocious but they didn’t disappoint this time its such a feel good fresh song and i love the lyrics even tho they’re so “little mix-y” 😭

Hmmm... 

A few things to mention:

- The song is very early 2010s. It screams 2011 for me. (Most likely because of David Guetta)

- It starts off like Selena's Stars Dance song. I wish there were more strings.

- It's a very summery song which is what Guetta normally specialises in.

- I'm not a fan of Perry's way of singing in the pre-chorus (I think it's her at least). 

- They relied more on rhyming and lyrics as opposed to a sweet melody () which is what they're really good at.

- The range of the song is a bit monotonous for me. The vocal arrangement could've been a bit better.

- The song is very light and for some reason I was under the impression that they'd go down the more dark-pop stuff which is what I really like normally so that took me off guard.

- Is it a memorable song? No.

- Is it generic? Yes.

- Is it catchy? Yes.

- Would it do good on its own? I doubt. Maybe as part of a party playlist.

- Am I going to stream it? I doubt unless they drop a bomb music video.

- The song is a bit too loud for me, if you know what I mean. It's not a bad song, don't get me wrong but I don't see anything special about it that would distinguish itself from the rest.

- Sweet Melody remains an endless bop.

- I'd give the Heartbreak song a 6/10.

I have to say I agree with almost all your points. It's not the best song ever, but it's catchy.

I'd add that the absence of Jesy is more disturbing than I expected. 

She really brought something special, and I miss it for this first song without her. 

I wouldn't say the 3 of them are now generic, but it's definitely flatter without her voice (at least on this song).
