if you believe the voicemail, then you believe britney wasn't able to manage her medication. we don't know the reason this conservatorship remains in place but it's clearly as a result of her wellbeing considering this is why it was sought in the first place. we have no idea what 'freeing' britney would actually look like in reality, or what risks revoking the conservatorship would present.

To blindly accept such a BLATANT attack on a person's civil rights is foolish. Sure, we don't know the details. But here's what we do know. We know she is forced to work. We know she cannot drive. Cannot vote. We know she is given an allowance. We know her father makes THOUSANDS a month (and is the FIRST PERSON paid whenever Britney herself brings in money). We know she is internally fighting the conservatorship. The entire situation HAS to be held accountable by public opinion. 

 

Just because you are mentally unwell does not mean you lose ALL HUMAN RIGHTS.
