I give Circusney a break. She didn’t even want to put an album out. It was all Larry and Jive trying to cash in on the attention she was getting. 

That whole album sounds like her vocals were lazy and overprocessed to makeup for her lack of enthusiasm at the time. I guess the same could be said for FF.

Britney Jean on the other hand. She had break and was only doing the X factor for a few months. No reason why that wasn’t a great album vocally. Other than it being scrapped.

That's just normal layering, she's singing it with them unlike Circus where she's only doing bg.

I always found that part weird but I thought it was the production or something like that  (Back then I didn't know about Myah) But then, a few years ago, I read here that it was Myah's vocals and ruined my life 

 

I still love the song tho

I've always thought it was Britney and Myah harmonizing in that part, same situation as He About To Lose Me
