And I don't think they should tbh. It's not a music event after all. I mean, the artists are there just to entertain and it's just like a party, but if any is watching the show is just to wait for the countdown, not to appreciate the performances. It's a show celebrating the new year, not the music, like the VMA's or BBMA's or any other award show of that kind where the music or the performers are the main attraction, or the Half Time show from the Super Bowl.
