Critics said the same and I don't know why. I remember I watched thr full show for the 1St time in 2006 (cause I was so young to go and I am from Mexico) and I totally loved it. The dancing might be a step behind the DWAD but thr attitude, the fierceness, her passion, the outfits, the stage was so on point. 

I guess she had a bad reception due to two factors: 

- She was kind of young for such explicit ****** image. Being **** was ok but our culture in America was so close to this type of ****** issues. A woman being proud of her sexuality was (sadly) seen as wrong. 

- She came from a bubblegum era. The change was a bit drastic.She still had many young fans (me included) and parents made a big deal of it. Britney herself said "I AM NOT THEIR PARENTS".
