And our target had about 7. All deluxe and standard. Thats because it's her home state lol Link to comment
MeowBurglar
I haven't bought my physical copy yet. it's because everyone just uses iTunes and Spotify now. Man, I used to make a game of peeling the sticker off the top of a CD and making a game of whether i could peel it off in one piece or not. I stuck them on the back of my door as a kid/teen. I had all of Britney's there for years lol. Nsync. Hansen. God - I feel old lol Link to comment
david lachapelle
LOL yeah, i legit went to BOTH target and walmart today and it was sold out in both stories, ugh... Link to comment

It's a good idea and labels do this with a lot of their artists, especially artists who sell more digitally than physical. Link to comment

It creates demand plus it's good for those "BRITNEY "GLORY" ALBUM: SOLD OUT ACROSS THE UNITED STATES" headlines. Fans should not say things like "not enough copies!!!!11" this is bad promo... Instead tweet "BRITNEY ALBUM SOLD OUT @ WHATEVER TARGET" I like your spin tnh Link to comment

Pop music listeners buy their music digitally, it's mostly fans who purchase the physical album. Link to comment
DirtyMind
I'm not surprised. After BJ and 'Pretty Girls' flopped so embarrassingly hard, they probably (and understandably) assumed Glory wouldn't be met with such a demand. It's awesome that they were wrong, even if people are having trouble finding it. Now they just need to send out more shipments ASAP to make sure it's available everywhere, especially next week after the VMAs. Link to comment

Rickeylicious
I went to Barnes and Noble. It wasn't on the shelf. The guy checked the computer and saw that they had it in stock. It was still in the box in the back. #FAIL Link to comment
Mc54
My Target on Long Island had 6 copies out, but their music section is always in shambles anyway. I picked up Zayn's album with hers finally too. Link to comment

RobRocks
Here in Spain there are not many copies either I went to FNAC (I guess some of you know this shop) and they didn't even have it Link to comment
Blackout Fan
they were probably based from the performance of the previous album an Britney's albums sales growth from an album to the other. Which means : It might be the first time Britney outsells her previous album excluding greatest hits). Nobody was ready for this Link to comment
reVolution
I think it's more the music stores not risking in ordering too many, not much of RCA fault Link to comment
Bees To The Honey
My Walmart had 3 standard and 3 deluxe. 2 standard bcuss someone bought one Link to comment
DominionJames
We are in the digital age of music. Its shouldnt be a shock that a progressive pop artist isnt selling that many physical copies. Link to comment
