Britney grabbed late-night sushi with Maluma and J Balvin Wednesday night in NYC. 

The meetup was happenstance. “The guys flagged her down, and she and her group joined them,” an insider tells Page Six.

“Everyone was in good spirits. Britney was all smiles and so happy to be back in New York for the first time in a while.”

They report Britney discussed her music and forthcoming book 'The Woman In Me' with them.

?? how is this random? they're both musicians and she's a musician herself, they could've been discussing ideas for songs etc. I hope we as fans collectively move on from making anything Britney does into an issue

She might be there to shoot the Drew Barrymore show…It starts back up October 16th. Also maybe Drew is the one who narrated her book, so it all comes full circle. 

Drew faced some scrutiny bc she wanted to restart her show amidst the strike, so maybe making the season premiere a full hour long Britney interview might benefit her greatly.
