i thought maybe the publishing company gave her specific instructions on how they wanted her to promote it on socials (it usually works that way with social media and celebrities, i actually work for a sm company) and she was going off script. that's the most reasonable explanation i could think of lol

It’s obviously a joke and that’s why she kept it. Y’all still don’t get her humor

Because she was going super saiyan on the goofy and starting to talk gibberish after losing track of the Kokomo lyrics. So he was cutting her off because they wouldn’t be able to use any of that. It sounded very lighthearted to me; it’s no different than when a friend tells you you’re being “extra.”
It’s just a suggestion to reel it in a bit. Not some malicious control tactic like some people here love to interpret/frame everything that sounds even remotely like someone “telling Britney what to do.”

Because it was too much. They need to take care of the little things to stop general public talk **** about her now that she's promoting her book. They're talking about she's not in 'good state' to write a book.
But if it was him controlling Britney, he would edit the vídeo and cut that part right?

I have ADHD and my boyfriend tells me every other day "too much" or "too loud". I don't really like it, but I guess he is just trying to help regulating my impulsivity

When I think about it I talk to my wife (lesbian) just like that! And our kids too when necessary 😅. But when Sam said it like that it killed the good feeling. I guess we're overprotective about our loved Britney...
