It must've been Control. I thought I'd be obsessed because I love Madge's early work, but I can't say I was gagged. ezgif-4-a8d81f15f7.gif

I really love Fey and Shakira, since before Britney came out with BOMT.

But Fey is basically living in retirement since several years ago (she keeps performing but hasn't released new music in a while, and her last studio album came out more than a decade ago).

And Shakira, I tend to prefer her older stuff rather than her latest singles or albums, but I still root for her just out of tradition lol

Other female singers I like are Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Gloria Trevi, Lynda, but they're more like, just because they're Mexican, and they've been part of my life since I was a kid, so now in retrospective I look back and I'm like, yeah, I support them, but it's not like I was a diehard fan of them at some point in my life. From the newer artists I could name Belinda and Danna Paola, but the same, it's more like I root for them and want them to thrive now in this urban dominated world, rather than being a 100% stan that follows every step of their careers.

From English speaking singers, it's the same, I also like Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, Madonna to some extent, but it's not comparable to my love for Britney. Lesser acts could include Sophie Ellis Bextor, Nelly Furtado, Mandy Moore (yes, I live in the past lol).

Then I also like a lot of pop bands, that sing both in English and Spanish, but most of them haven't been active constantly, in the sense that most of them disbanded at some point and have like huge gaps of time in their career, so it's hard to know if I would've kept liking them if they never stopped when they did.

My top 10.  These ladies get me through good times, bad times and anything in between.

Britney Spears/Jewel
Chantal Kreviazuk
Celine Dion
Shania Twain
Olivia Newton-John
Amy Winehouse
Mariah Carey
Alanis Morissette
Avril Lavigne

I also love Jewel, Celine, Shania, Alanis, and Avril! Although I recently listened to Celine's whole discography and found I only like about 15% of it :idkney_britney_glory_carpool_karaoke_unsure_idk_nervous: I love that 15% though!
