Britney's Entire Catalog Reportedly Having Worldwide Vinyl Release

If only RIAA (and various other countries' certification systems) updated her sales with these possible (re-)releases. Most of her early releases haven't been updated since 2004, and her latest updates are from 2018

Hmm, I don’t know if I want to buy her albums on vinyl all over again, those UO ones got kinda expensive. But if there’s anything special or unique, I’d give it a thought for some of her best ones.

I think this is way overdue!! Most of the fans were probably able to get the UO exclusives (unfortunately not me) but this will be so good for the general public as vinyls are kinda the IT thing right now. I think even people just seeing her old albums in stores on display might make the casuals purchase.

I hope they are printed disc versions so that have a different design from the UO ones

I already have all the UO releases. I wonder if there’s anything special about these? I don’t play them or anything. I just have them as part of my collection. So sound quality is not a factor for me.

They will be much better quality black vinyl pressings than the limited edition UO versions, and they will be wide released for purchase to all retailers

I hope these go on Amazon so I can order them all with my Prime shipping. I have the UO ones, but I'll be buying these as well. I collect them all + love to support my girl!

I'm so glad her albums will all be on Vinyl in stores everywhere instead of just Urban.

Btw serious question, but do people just buy vinyl records for the sake of collecting them or do they actually play them? Because I swear I've never met anyone irl who has a record player. I thought we left those behind in the 70s.

I love that they’re doing more picture vinyls, but…why do BOTH versions of Glory? Unless one is just the bonus tracks/etc. I think the Baby and Oops picture discs are lovely.

Also to whoever asked if people really listen to vinyls - six of one, half a dozen of the other. I collect vinyls and still play them (in fact we have a new machine on the way as ours is starting to run out), some people love them for nostalgia/historical purposes and collect them only with no player.

That's cool but I hope they're interesting vinyl colors/patterns. If they're just black, they can keep them. The UO ones were really cool.
