Celine, Xtina and Pink deserved to be on the list. Not Britney. Besides not being a good vocalist, she doesn't even sing live. The only one in the industry who lip syncs the entire show, even when she's seated, so it wouldn't make sense for her to appear on a vocalist list. RS loves Britney, but they aren't delusional like some here...

Just because she doesn’t sing live does not mean she cant sing. Her performances Include alot of movement and choreography , so she would sound like **** live. It’s the same reason Beyonce prerecords her vocals.

Britney is not a vocalist, no matter how hard you try to prove otherwise. If it were a list about performers, obviously it would be in the top 3, maybe even #1. But in terms of vocals, she's weak. There's nothing to discuss. Britney is a studio singer, and that's okay. This did not stop her from becoming a legend.

Rolling stone has said that singer means the entire career and chart success, not just voice. No matter which way you lean on this issue, the list was not well considered if it left of both Britney Spears and Celine Dion.

I'm actually surprised that for once they included some Hispanic artists like Juan Gabriel, Rocío Durcal, Vicente Fernández, Celia Cruz, etc, but it's still too few for the amount of amazing singers we have in Latin America and Spain, and I bet it's gonna be the same with every other country / region, yet they call it a list of "all time". Like, where's Luis Miguel, for example? 

It's also funny that they said it's not just voices, but also the originality, influence, etc, and someone like Lady Gaga is so high on that list. And people like Britney, Madonna, Cher, etc who also had a lot of influence are not even in the last positions.

Billboard and RS would post their own ***** if that meant more payola. They are pathetic and have lost copious amounts of credibility.

From their rotten charting rules to lists. I hope Britney never gives them another cover.

Babe, you are delusional. I'm a Britney stan since 99 and i can HEAR what she can or can't do. Please, stop. She's not a great vocalist. She has amazing recognizable voice, but tbh she needs lots of practice to get to where she could vocally be. I'm not hating at all, but damn i prefer living in a real world

Don‘t get me wrong, i love Britney so much. But she doesn’t belong on this list. If it would be „greatest Performers“, „biggest Popstars“ she should be in the Top 5 at least. 

BUT if Billy Elish, Taylor Swift and Beyonce are on the List the should definitely give Britney also a spot. 

Since they left Celine Dion out and put Beyonce in the Top 10🤣 , you should use this list as toilet paper
