Her first album as literally an OBSESSION for me in 2006. I played it non - stop!! It was cute for a pop album in 2006. But her 2nd album I truly believe is the worst pop album ever made.  Sneaker night is unbearable awful.

There’s not much to return to imho besides acting and occasional singing to support a movie project. Lately she’s appeared as a celebrity but I haven’t heard much from her career in years so idk. 

Not dying for her to come back but I’ll check her out if she chooses to as she’s got a nice voice and is incredibly beautiful.

We really need to leave the wannabe pop girlies in the 2000’s where they belong. They can barely sing, can’t dance, didn’t write their own music and the production was awful.

Say Ok and Come Back to Me were great pop songs! I still listen to them. Sneaker Night was awful to me. She has a great voice and could’ve gone a lot farther with the music career if she got the right songs.

Boy does this bring back memories!
I was 12-13 when High School Musical came out and when it was a huge thing.

I found it funny how almost all the main cast had record deals.

I was a die hard Zanessa fan,

so I naturally gravitated towards her music.

 

HOWEVER now listening to her songs and albums as an adult,

I'd say it aged badly.

She had a nice tone to her voice but she just didnt have the right songs.

They were all cheesy and too disney to ever become a mainstream hit.

 

I will say though Ashley Tisdale made WAY better music that has aged pretty well.

She had potential to be a big popstar however I think due to being on HSM,

it kinda killed her chance at mainstream success.

Her first 2 albums are still the sh!!!!t!
