*ALSO the real cause of high spending on HIV prevention in the US is government-sponsored corporate profiteering. A one month supply of PREP costs $2400 in the US and the same exact medicine costs $7 in Australia.

My mom got a horrible infection after her gallbladder surgery recently and her insurance would not pay for the antibiotic prescription and the **** would be $1000 as insurance denied it. Someone we know told her about an app called GoodRX and she was able to get the same generic **** at Wal-Mart pharmacy for about $40 but no insurance filed.  It's ridiculous!

We have insanely good ***** for treating and preventing HIV. There's no cure and probably never will be, but we've made a ton of progress.

I work in Healthcare and I have seen the quality decrease in the past few years thanks to cv19, insurances not wanting to pay out and societal decay.
