Was it ever confirmed that Britney and Justin were engaged?

From what I've heard and read on here, Justin started it (but this is a Britney fan forum, so the information is obviously biased even if it's true).

Due to their extremely busy schedules, Britney felt neglected by Justin. And Justin turned around and started SLEEPING WITH Jenna Dewan. More well-known as Channing Tatum's ex-wife (but before they got together).

Britney then turned around and KISSED Wade Robson, her longtime collaborator and one of Justin's friends. Wade himself told Justin what had happened, but rumors still swirled that they smashed.

Personally, I've always felt that since Justin started a life with Horsica, Britney should've been petty and smashed Horsica's ex, Chris Evans. Mostly because I think Britney and Chris would make a good couple. Also, who doesn't want to drink Captain America's... "Super Soldier Serum"?

But I love her and Sam, so I'll just take Chris for myself.

IIRC, she said New Year's 2001. And when Exhalers did what Exhalers do, we found out she was talking about New Year's 2002, which of course would be celebrated on December 31, 2001. She was with Justin in Hawaii on that day.

I still believe he proposed to her on that day. And even though I stopped shipping Justin and Britney long ago, the idea of that happening still makes my heart swell.

No there were clues that she was talking Hawaii. She may have even directly mentioned it. But it was clear it wasn't about a performance.

I don't think she genuinely ever loved K-Fed. She felt infatuated by him. That's different from love. Their relationship began to crumble just as infatuation periods end. And she admitted she felt like she married him for an idea of a lifestyle, which leads us to believe it was not because she actually loved him. She felt attracted towards him, liked his chill demeanor and she was mostly attracted to the idea of settling down and having a family. K-Fed was willing to provide that for her. Plus, he was Justin's backup dancer.

I don't think her relationship with Justin wasn't serious. They seemed to be much more in tune than the rest. Similar aspirations, similar goals, similar ways of thinking. And she seemed to hold him in high regards... and that goes on until today. When she said she felt safer with Justin's family than she felt with hers, you know it's serious.

I remember that interview! That was same interview where they asked if she regrets anything. She said Chaotic. Then they asked if she regretted Crossroads and she said NO! 😆

OMG I remember she regretted Chaotic. Which is so ironic since aside from not including Sam in her posts, her Instagram is very much in the same vein as the Chaotic episodes. Which is why I think she'd be such a great vlogger on YouTube if she wanted, she's good behind and in front of the camera.

At the time she sometimes got little things wrong like years and ages. She was taking about Justin here and what could be the best night of her life.
