Britney Spears and Elton John have 'had meetings' about the 'Hold Me Closer' music video and 'want to convey the message' that the 'song tells.'

Britney Spears, 40, and Elton John, 75, already made a hit song out of their new single, “Hold Me Closer,” when it was released last week, and now they’re taking it one step further with an unforgettable music video. The singers are planning a “huge production” for the project and are “ready” for it, according to a source. “It is in the very beginning stages of development, and they are trying to find out how they want to convey the message that this song tells,” the source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.

“Britney and her team have discussed this video with Elton, and they have had meetings about it,” the insider continued. “But nothing has been formulated, yet, in terms of a storyline, and /or concept. Of course, it is going to be a huge production, but Britney is now ready for this. She is ready for this video, and she is now ready to get back to her music. ‘Hold Me Closer’ has given her a voice again and she is ready to use it.”

If this is true, this is why some of us are going so hard on the streaming. I know some of yall are just like it's not that serious no one cares about charts but for me it's a simple way to show her we care. 

It was a way for her to dip her toe in the water and by us supporting it I'd hope it would give her the confidence boost. 

It's the least I could do

even if the song loses steam by the time they make a video (assuming it's true) they'll pick up again afterwards. would love to see her in a video, but only if she wants to.

I don’t believe it the song is out and it takes time to shoot the video have it in editing and post production ect

If a video happened with them actually in it we wouldn’t see on probably until the single starts losing steam!

He almost always appeared in them back in the day, nowadays does so every once in a while - ex.g. I'm Gonna Love Me Again and his Christmas collab with Ed Sheeran.

Aaron. 

They can make up a story, of two parallel worlds or time travel, at one point the younger version of Elton (Aaron) and they can show Elton as a mysterious character at his piano. And Britney just being Britney waiting for time to line up again and make them meet again. A whole theme of time travel, and parallel worlds.
