Yikes. I get her frustration, but I don’t think she actually grasps the reality of the situation she was in. Those docs made a lot of noise and greatly helped her situation. Comparing them to Will Smith or anyone else is a really far reach. I truly hope she is actively taking care of herself.

Well, it was indeed her voice that freed her - she wouldn't be free if she wasn't so brave to speak up publicly. Immensely proud of her.

However, I do believe the documentaries did also help her. I get her frustration though, there shouldn't be documentaries to free her, her voice alone should be enough. It's been made clear to us she's been trying to get her freedom for YEARS but the courts and those around her didn't listen or silenced her, but it was not until the documentaries and massive Free Britney movement that finally gave her the opportunity to speak to the world.

I understand she's angry and she has every right to be, it is her life and she should be the one to tell her own story. I'm thankful her book will be her way to do that. We love you Brit.

I feel bad for everyone that put their ***** on the line making it. I don’t think anyone would’ve known about Jamie monitoring her had the black box employee not given the interview to the times.

She's right.

From a legal perspective, the fans and journalists did very little to help her.

It all came 13 years too late...And what help did come had very little impact on the legal moves that the various parties' attorneys were making.

The attention may have lit a fire under Lynne Spears ***...But that only did so much.

Almost everything that was achieved was achieved by Britney herself.

Many people spoke out bc they had the protection of the New York Times behind them. People were afraid to act on anything bc of Jamie. Those docs helped her greatly.

Anyone who spoke out, like the black box employee, was protected. The film makers/producers/NYT would be held liable had anyone tried to sue them over their revelations. Every one of them had iron clad non disclosure agreements that Jamie had them sign. Some were fearful to speak on things bc of Jamie. Had they spoken out on their own, they would’ve lost everything they ever worked for.

she's right. her voice should have been enough. she talked to the judge two years prior and nothing changed until she did it again publicly. 

personally I think the docs helped the general public understand some of it. and well, Rosengart keeps mentioning the second NYT one so I suppose we could count that one as the only one helping her situation. 

but I completely understand her anger and her perspective. I can't wait for the book and actually knowing what happened from her point of view

Well. I think she is right. We all know how the media has used her image to exploited her life and make money! Maybe that the reason she know is so private and just go to this places we're no one can locate her. 

She is on the celibrity most exposed into the media, the paparazzi, so we are not even  close how that felt. 

She also said the truth, es the documentaries make people open the eye but that was nothing, it could change nothing. I think that the really impact was her testimony!!!!! When she decided to speak for herself that free her and make people believe in her.

I love Britney and I do believe she is free mainly because of herself and her strength. She has the right to express her anger. 

That being said, what she seems to be bothered about is footage from around 2007 being shown in the docs. I can see why she is embarrassed, but it is what it is. It did happen and she shouldn't be shame about it. Everybody has bad moments and those moments are part of the conservatorship history.

She deserves the credit for her freedom, but fact is that would never had happened without the public pressure that came with the docs, otherwise would have happened before.

I love Britney but I don’t share her views about the documentaries.. she even kinda comes off a bit “ungrateful”.

Britney literally had no clue she could even file a petition to end her conservatorship.. 

Without the fans and the media I absolutely believe she would still be in a conservatorship.. sure, she spoke in June 2021 but she should be reminded that she spoke before and the judge didn’t care because no one was paying attention.
