Britney is "very happy" and enjoying her life with husband Sam Asghari right now and has no plans to work at the moment.

"Britney loves her new house. She picked it out with Sam," an insider tells People. "She wanted a fresh start with Sam. It's been very important to her to have a home that she picked up without having to ask for approval from [dad Jamie Spears]."

"She still can't believe she is married," the source continued. "She enjoys it very much and loves calling Sam her husband."

They added: "Britney has no desire right now to have a career," the source says. "She is not opposed to working in the future, but right now, she just wants to enjoy her life."

Her upcoming book is still a major undertaking. Once that is released and she is done with any additional legal actions related to the conservatorship, perhaps she will look at another project. If she has a baby with Sam expect a couple year break.

I also think fans should prepare themselves for the reality that she may never return to the stage or releasing music, and if she does it will probably be many years away... like not in the next decade. She has a lot of time that was stolen from her to make up for away from her career.

I'm so happy for her, and I think she will eventually come back cause she genuinely loves what she does. Music and creativity run through her blood and are very therapeutic for her, as she mentioned many times before. So I got my hopes for the future.
