It's time to take a closer look at the details of how Britney ended up in rehab.

Why?

Her three consecutive "in-and-out" trips to rehab were used against her to strip her of custody of her two toddlers and then to eventually strip her of her freedom for 13 years.

Larry Rudolph:

In his Sept. 7, 2007 deposition for the custody case, Larry Rudolph admits that a team of insiders began planning an "intervention" in January of 2007, as early as eight weeks after Britney filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Included in the various conference calls and planning were Larry, Kevin Federline, Jamie Spears, Lynne Spears, Bryan Spears, interventionist Betty Wyman, and Britney's divorce attorney, Laura Wasser.

Feb. 1, 2007:

For the second month in a row, Britney and Kevin Federline temporarily agree to continue to share joint legal custody of their two toddlers. Kevin's physical custody is limited to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from noon to 4 pm at Britney's residence. The agreement extends until the end of February 2007.

Feb. 14, 2007:

Britney is taken to rehab in Antigua by manager Larry Rudolph. It is a Wednesday, making it one of Kevin Federline's visitation days with the boys. Within 24 hours, Britney checks herself out and returns to Miami.

Feb. 16, 2007:

Britney nearly misses her six-hour flight from Miami to Los Angeles. The walkway is re-extended so she can board the plane. It is a Friday, making it one of Kevin Federline's scheduled visitation days from noon to 4 pm at Britney's residence.

Around 7 pm, Britney shaves her head, and then sits for a new tattoo, leaving the studio around 9 pm. Britney then attacks a paparazzo's car with an umbrella after standing outside of the home of Kevin Federline, demanding to see their two infant sons.

 

Feb. 17, 2007:

Britney no longer has access to any form of money. She cannot even book a hotel room because she no longer has the full number for the black Amex credit card belonging to her manager that was scrawled on a piece of paper.

Feb. 20, 2007:

Britney checks into Promises rehab center in Los Angeles.

According to Lynne Spears, “Right before Britney went into Promises, after she shaved her head, I got an anonymous call from a man while I was driving in Los Angeles. There are ***** planted in Britney’s Malibu home,” he said, going on to tell me that it was a conspiracy between Kevin and Britney’s assistants to make my daughter look like a bad mother.” Two paragraphs later, Lynne admits that the man who called about the ***** was Sam Lutfi.

On the night of either February 20 or February 21, while at the apartment of her brother Bryan, and in the presence of celebrity interventionist Betty Wyman, Britney is unknowingly fed an unidentified medication by her mother, Lynne Spears. According to Lutfi:

"Yes, Lynne was at her sons Bryans apt in Marina Del , I believe Betty Wineman, an interventionist was present, as well as Alli Sims and there was another women[sic] there at the time. According to Lynne, she sent the unnamed woman to the pharmacy at the Ralphs Grocery Store next door to pick up an RX that she had called in, when the woman brought the pills to the apt, Lynne claims she took a pill crushed it on the kitchen counter and wiped the contents into Britneys Red Bull, in which Britney drank, passed out and later was driven to promises."

Feb. 21, 2007:

Kevin Federline is granted an ex parte (emergency) court hearing, presumably to request full custody of their two infant sons. The hearing is scheduled by Mark Vincent Kaplan. The date is set for Thursday, February 22.

Britney checks out of Promises and drives to meet with Blair Berk, a prominent criminal defence attorney.

Around 8:45 pm, Britney arrives at Kevin Federline's residence, asking to see their two infant sons. Kevin refuses her entry.

At 9:30 pm, Britney is picked up from Kevin Federline's house in a vehicle driven by her mother, Lynne.

At 10:20 pm, Britney and Lynne are observed to be driving around while arguing.

At 10:33 pm, Britney is driven to Promises by her mother Lynne and checks back into rehab for the third time. She enters Promises for a minimum 30-day stay.

Feb. 22, 2007:

The emergency child custody hearing scheduled for later in the day is cancelled. Both Jamie Spears and Mark Vincent Kaplan deny that the hearing was scheduled to take place, calling the news "misinformation."

Mar. 21, 2007:

Britney is released from rehab, and blesses us with this video:

Also…was this Laura Wasser’s (Britney’s divorce attorney) biggest eff up in her career? She had a client who was providing the only income and childcare in addition to a iron clad pre-nup. It seems like an open and shut case. How did Wasser eff up this case so badly?

The rehab stays robbed her of quality time with her children. It is understandable that she reacted badly and she shouldn't have paid such a huge price.

Somebody remind me to follow up with this little tidbit...

Dr. Wyman holds the discharge records?  What about the admittance records that Britney couldn't obtain herself?

Aug. 8, 2007 - Mark Vincent Kaplan's law firm submits a Order to Show Cause (OSC) filing to the family court asking to modify custody. The filing includes five witness declarations with 29 exhibits that Kaplan claims provides material evidence of Britney's drinking and **** use, along with a lengthy list of other behaviours he claims affects the wellbeing of the children, including:

"Petitioner's in-and-out trips to rehab and ongoing failure to provide required proof of her compliance with her discharge recommendations from Promises Treatment Center. (For several months prior to filing the OSC, we attempted, without success, to obtain from Petitioner her discharge records from Promises and proof of her compliance therewith from Dr. Wyman.)"

Is it time we make a list of all of the lawyers around this who should be disbarred?

I mean…they aren’t actually going to be disbarred because this IS the system and they are above the law…it’s more of a race to the bottom…who can point fingers at whom fastest.

Laura Wasser might be the first ally for the B movement, if she were willing to point fingers at the more nefarious players in the LA legal system that caused B’s conservatorship.

B’s divorce case and Wasser’s strategy was a catastrophic failure—a consensus opinion…it’s only a matter of time before this begins to impact Wasser’s reputation in LA. More scrutiny will be on her as the Kimye divorce proceeds, Britney tells her story, and the investigative journalists looking into Cali family family court uncover more info.

If Laura Wasser is paying attention at all to the multiple channels and movements that are exposing the LA family court system—the thousands of people they have harmed— she’ll make a proactive move to throw other lawyers/players under the bus in order to protect her reputation. Scott Gordon, Reva Goetz, Sam Ingham, the entire Cali probate system, Jamie and Lynne Spears are the easiest targets.

It seems she was lazy with this case because it was supposed to be open and shut. MVK is the equivalent of Johnny Cochran and R. kardashian with the OJ case.

Lol…but after that rant…I actually DO think it’s a good idea to list all the lawyers involved in this case. It’s a public good. So if anyone is going up against these lawyers they know that the goal is to get them in an illegal conservatorship.

And at the absolute very least is will make it clear just Howwww many lawyers Britney was supporting.

my current estimate is the CON cost Britney $10mm per year…and my biggest concern is that I am being far too conservative in that estimation.

Yeah!! This was her fatal mistake…she trusted the handler. He was a lawyer. Lawyers like lawyers.

but MVK’s strategy took this into account. MVK’s strategy was to starve out B’s handlers and make them desperate enough to put B in extremely vulnerable situations. Larry did A LOT of the dirty work for MVK bc the poor ******* was worthless without Britney.

Everyone involved in this case; Britney's lawyers, family, managers, courts actively worked to sabotage Britney. One wonders how and why such a big collaboration took place between so many people? Is this a cult surrounding Britney? They wanted to punish her for not following the rules anymore?

All the stuff Sean Phillips said also fit in here. Because, really, something really shifty was obviously going on from the point she divorced Kevin and on. She didn't have access to her own house... and iirc before the rehab. Larry was taking her to all those party gigs as well.

Maybe this is why Britney did not want to be home after returning from Antigua.  She was supposed to have the kids, and they were with Kevin and both grannies.  Kevin refused to give them back, and had these two women telling him exactly what to say to make her upset and act out.

Didn't Britney actually admit that in FTR? That she didn't want to be home because her babies were missing?

Where did things stand as Britney walked out of Promises at the end of her 30-day program?

Do we know what the custody agreement was as of March 21, 2007?

Jan. 24, 2008 - Sam Lutfi is deposed for the custody case by Mark Vincent Kaplan. TMZ reports that Kaplan wants to know if Britney made a deal with paparazzi agency X17 and if Lutfi is the "bagman."

And Lufti avoided being served for months it sounds like. This must be where Larry got the idea to pretend he was “hiding from getting served for deposition in order to protect B”…a story Larry put out AFTER he was served.
