People are reading way too much into it. The meaning of the song is that nothing in life comes free. You have to work to get the body you want, the job you want, the car you want, the house you want, the vacation you want. It's a good life lesson.

I worked out this morning to this song and all I was thinking was the AUDACITY. Britney did NOT get to party in France. Or have fancy ****, or drive a Maserati. The ******* nerve. And she worked under pressure and had to sing this every night in Vegas

I  no feel bad that so many Britney songs seem to have trapped her in irony.

My prerogative - has to ask permission, can’t make her own decisions.

all these songs now are kinda ruined for me. I hope if she comes back to music, she can do whatever the **** she wants sonically. She deserves to be in control.

She's on the studio version for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. So there's a Britney version there.

I get that we should question a lot of the things that have happened in her conservatorship now knowing the realities that she faced. 

I mean, I do agree that the song did not age well based on her experiences. But I don't think we dig into every aspect
