When Criminal came out, I remember the media saying it was her first ballad since Everytime  not only she released more ballads after Everytime, but I wouldn't even consider Criminal one, but who knows anymore

Haha, exactly this. I'm keen to know what's even considered a Britney ballad. For me it's between 'My Baby' or 'Perfume'.

Back in the days (2011) some people here claimed Perfect Lover was a ballad... lol

 

Her last ballad is probably Mood Ring (ballad mood pride mix) that was gonna be the lead single of the cancelled vinyl re-re-release of Glory.

As a single, it’d be Perfume!

But if we were including non-singles I would argue either Hold on Tight or Don’t Cry…

Maybe an argument could be made for Man on the Moon but idk…
