This is one of my fave songs from them ever and prefer this version more so than the version with Jason. Such a beautiful performance here. Vocals, elegance and beauty for days! I love my girls!

I think it can be for any forbidden love but it speaks to the LGBTQ+ community because it's still not 100% socially acceptable to be out in public just loving your partner the way hetero***uals are accustomed to. It's become a gay anthem and they have acknowledged this themselves and dedicated to the community.

Jade is especially a MASSIVE advocate! She said how when she moved to London she felt SO lonely and it was the LGBT+ community that made her feel so welcome and happy and to be happy with how she is (she used to suffer anorexia and nearly died it was that bad).

Whenever they perform it on tour they have the rainbow involved in some way and always dedicate to their LGBT+ fans - they even had the flag up at a concert in Dubai where it is illegal to be *******ual. I could post so much more, but i'll stop spamming
