Alleged lyrics leaked for a new song titled "High On Your Supply," off Katy Perry's forthcoming album Smile, and if real... she drags herself to filth.

Katy Kats were speculating she was dragging a pop girl, but that's likely not the case: she's coming for her past self.

How do we know it's about Katy and not about... IDK... Kacey Musgraves? Katy had this to say in a new interview with the Washington Post:

“For me in 2017, 2018, I went through a reckoning of self and really re-prioritized what was important and my association with validation, or my relationship with validation. There was just a shift that happened in my life and my career. I wasn’t getting as high on my own supply as I used to anymore,” Perry said. “It’s like I had been to the top of the mountain. I’d seen the view. I had gotten too used to it. So, of course, the universe decided to come and say, ‘All right sweetie, let’s figure this one out.’

Definitely seems like it's towards herself, especially when she's talking about 'lonely road', 'slipping after hype'

But I have a lot of respect for her for choosing to not let the fame and chart success and all that keep her down.

If this is real than real props to her. She made a total switch since the Witness era. She went from a people pleaser to somebody that values her own happiness and luck above pleasing other so hard that you'll lose yourself.

It's basically everything I wish Britney could be. Katy has been looking radiant and soooo happy the past year. She enjoys her pregnancy and works harder than ever before. 

I don't see this song as something sad or bad but more as a final goodbye to an older version of herself.
