Basically this. Bravo interpretation. It’s not a bad song. The melody and lyrics had potential but everything in between failed.

Britney and William Orbit was a collaboration I'd always wanted. They both massively under-delivered with Alien.

I like Alien but BMS is the best track on bj and it should have been on the soundtrack of some barely related to religion themed movie

Good lyrics and concept, terrible execution. With the state of its quality, it shouldn’t have even been a bonus track, much less album opener (of course, this is predicated on the idea that we’re discussing a normal Britney album and not the sonic nightmare that was BJ). 

It made me die a little inside that Britney actually compared “Alien” to “Everytime.” I mean, even Larry knew it would flop as a single, and he doesn’t know anything.

I LOATHE Alien. The production is horrible, the melody is awful, her vocals are mediocre and it lacks a strong chorus to make it listeanable to at least. I guess it's personal taste

I haven't heard the glitch in years... i replaced the album version with the first leaked version when the album dropped. Way more listenable.
