people say they pushed it back because they wanted G-Eazy to be in the videoclip, and they did it, only to have him appear on tv screens in the final video they released I mean, they could've done that since the original release date, but that's how Team Britney rolls

that's just what the OP wrote in the thread's title, aiming for a hit thread, which he certainly got but the Twitter account never said a date, the tweet was posted on Jan 9, and it literally said " SOMEONE JUST TOLD ME THERES A SURPRISE ALBUM DROPPING AND IM SHAKING ". The Britney tweets came up way later.
