We have had 2 other years of no releases from Britney.

And those two years were 2006 and 2014. So looks like 2017 is going to be another one because 2018 is the beginning of her 20th anniversary.

I was just thinking today how it's been almost 20 years (it will be next year) and by the end of it or the beginning of the one after we will have another album which basically means Britney has released new albums almost every two years. I think that's a big thing and it proves she has never left.
