Ellen has a lot of viewers, I'm sure it'll help. I think it would be a smarter move if she just did a normal sit down interview and perform the single. But hopefully the segment at the mall helps.

Why all the negativity?

I would think they would incorporate make me into the segment, and give it some kind of promotion along with the album and I think it will help, Ellen audience is a lot bigger than today's and probably a better demographic of Brit fans,.  A performance would have been great.
