I looved What You Need from first listen. I don't know why many people shade it 

Britney is serving vocals and attitude 

I heard many people compare it to being Tina Turner-esque or that she sounds black 

 

I don't think it should be and would be a single though. It's something only fans would like imo

I really love the album precisely because of that. Even my "least favorite" songs are still awesome. I'm just glad she didn't go for that urban direction, at least not 100%.

Yea. Honestly, Make Me is the most urban of the tracks to me, and is easily forgettable once I begin enjoying the rest of the album. Liar, should have been the first single :-( but I think she wanted to prove that she could make relevant music and stick with current trends, all the while remaining Britney

On first listen I loved it! I think people are against it because it's not classic Britney, or what she had in 2011. You have to learn that she's not that girl anymore. Take a moment, cry if you have to. They're bittersweet memories.

But Private Show > What You Need. Private Show is on fire!

What You Need is the song Private Show wishes to be. Such an awesome jam! I actually think the second half of the album is the stronger part of Glory.
