Queen_Britney
Makes so much sense... Myah Marie and the floppage started happening when the whole RCA thing happened... Hell, "PG" happened with RCA! ****, EVEN "B IN THE MIX: THE REMIXES VOL. 2" (WITH RECYCLED REMIXES) HAPPENED WITH RCA! I never thought I'd say this but... JIVE, PLEASE COME BACK! Link to comment

After undergoing reshoots, the final version of "Make Me" arrived Friday. Link to comment
Anibalto
Why she or her team don't make an official statement or something about the video and that was a RCA decision reshoot it? Link to comment
Steel Magnolia
Just because Britney is Britney doesn't mean she always get her own way. The record label has ALL the power. Truly legendary musicians like Prince and George Michael (Yes! He's legendary!) have spent their careers fighting with their labels. Once labels find a winning formula they expect their artists to keep repeating the formula. It's how the Dr. Luke's of the world have grown to be so powerful. Link to comment

Right, they're just paraphrasing that Vulture article ("Again addressing her label RCA, the petition notes that the video "is not a suitable representation of the song" and that its original deserves to be released instead."). RCA isn't behind this, or at least we don't know anything about it. The only official information is that there were creative differences. That's all. Link to comment

This video doesn't come close to matching Britney's "formula" for success honey, sooo not really too sure about your theory here. RCA wants to make money....reshooting a video and putting out one that only gets backlash...not a great business plan. This is some C-list pop star nonsense. No matter who gets or deserves the blame, her name is on it and so she, her management team, and RCA are culpable for the results. Byee Link to comment

F.a.u.zish
41 minutes ago, Brian I said: This is diferent and here's why: 1) this is the third time that happens 2) we are talking about the same label and same artist who fought twice years ago for MATM and toxic, as singles and videos, so don't blame her team or label: it's all Britney's fault. We all know that she does everything she wants. Britney's team may be the same but the Execs from RCA are not the same ones that existed with JIVE besides back then Britney could afford to take more risks than now, so RCA is plausible, though it is very likely that this was all her.
