Did Jessica Simpson kinda end Britney's career here?
The Femme Fatale replied to Britney Baby's topic in Britney Community
Ended her career? Dude this is the second “ended Britney’s career” thread you’ve made talking about other singers who haven’t lasted as long as Britney so they in no way “ended” Britney’s career when their success fizzled out by 2008 when Britney gained her second number one on the BB Hot 100 in 10 years and then immediately following up with a number 3 hit on the same chart and a number 1 album on the BB 200. Where were these people that “ended” Britney’s career? Not in the top 10 I can tell you that. Lady GaGa and mostly Perez Hilton ended Christina’s career (Christina could’ve killed her own career if you want to get technical) and Jessica killed her own career after A Public Affair by putting out a country album and dating a couple of guys after her divorce. She hasn’t hardly put out anything related to music since that country album. -

VH1 ‘Greatest Pop Icons’ Special Various Clips 07/2003

This is my one main complaint about the album. It literally sounds like a Midnights re-release. She needs to work with new producers. Branch out. She doesn’t need to work with Max Martin or anybody well known, but there are a lot of up and coming producers that would kill to have a big break working with a powerhouse like Taylor Swift. At least give them a chance Taylor instead of constantly using Jack “The Recycler” Antonoff.

Is Taylor Swift's '𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚃𝙾𝚁𝚃𝚄𝚁𝙴𝙳 𝙿𝙾𝙴𝚃𝚂 𝙳𝙴𝙿𝙰𝚁𝚃𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃' a good album?

It’s getting stale. She doesn’t have to work with expensive producers, but she can work with new ones. Jack Antonoff is running out of ideas on how to make her music sound, it’s time to switch it up. I like the album, but it does nothing to change or revolutionize her sound or even the current music landscape. It’s just there. It literally sounds almost completely like Midnights. Tbh she needs to take a long long LONG break after she re-records reputation and Taylor Swift. I’m not bashing on her, but this just ain’t it anymore. -

Vocal style all 4 sound the same to me idk. Instrumental wise, no they’re completely different. Only Midnights and this new album sound almost identical imo. She can still experiment with genres. She could make a house sounding record, or an rnb type of record. There’s still plenty of sounds for her to explore. This album sounds just like the last one, and vocally like the previous 3 imo. -

Like take Britney for example. She branched off from Max Martin and started working with The Neptunes, then Bloodshy & Avant, then Danja, then Dr. Luke, then (sadly) will.i.am, and when she did Glory it was with a bunch of people she either never worked with before or she only did a couple songs with previously. If you can go and work with different people and still make it sound good, then that to me is an artist. Taylor just needs to branch out to different producers for something fresh, otherwise it’s going to ruin her artistry imo. Like imagine if Britney only worked with will.i.am or Danja. It would start to sound really stale and she’d get ripped apart by critics. -

I’m currently listening to it rn I think I’m on track 5. It’s good, but she’s really starting to sound stale. She needs to branch off and find new people to work with instead of always relying on Jack Antonoff to produce her stuff all the time because he can only do so much until it all just starts blending together. I mean it almost style wise reminds me of Midnights. I’m not bashing her or the album, but she REALLY needs to branch out and work with new people instead of playing it safe with Jack. -

A guy claims to be Britney & Justin's son
The Femme Fatale replied to NJ jeans's topic in Britney Community
In all seriousness though this isn’t something you’d want to joke about with Britney. That abor**on she was forced to get is what got the ball rolling with everything bad that happened in her life and kind of trying to gain something from it whether it’s followers, attention, or money, is kinda gross. Maybe this kid didn’t read her book so he doesn’t know how that abor**on affected her. But if he did and decided this was a thing to joke about Britney and Justin’s long lost kid, then that’s a **** move tbh. I hope Britney has been able to heal from that now, especially kind of getting closure by talking about it in her book, so that if for some chance she see’s this kid, she’s able to not let it affect her.
