Into the Groove, is in your face agreesive, in it's message. 

 

Rob Sheffield calls into the groove, a punk rock track but disguised in her classic pop disco style, which she's known from.

 

Kudos for him mentioning the overlooking of her songwriting and musicianship,  which people don't discuss, and just dismiss. 

 

Unlike other artists from her era and today, at least her talent backed up the controversial antics cos it goes back to the music first.
