Is there a way to track book sales?

In the music world, we have sites like KWORB etc. but the book world is so new to us  is there a website to track preorders, sales, etc. of the book? What do you all think it’s going to sell in its first week, day, etc.

With regard to current pre-sales, anyway, this is directly from Amazon:

“Best Sellers:   #1 in Books (Top 100); #1 in Rich & Famous; #1 in Biographies; #1 in Memoirs, #1 in Actor & Entertainer.”

My understanding is no. The publishers are the ones in charge of sharing the amount of copies sold. I'm sure we'll start to get actual numbers in the coming weeks

Only if the publishers release figures, however the New York Times have their Best-Sellers list but Idk if it's weekly or monthly

I def think after today it’s def gonna be a New York Times best seller. It’ll probably be as big as Jeanette mccurdy’s book

I was actually trying to look up how much similar books have sold a few weeks ago such as Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson and couldn’t find anything on sales. Actually, I was trying to see how housewives books sold, too, and found nothing. Just “New York Time Bestseller Heather Gay”. I want the NUMBERS.

I'm sure it will sell well.. Especially with Holiday Season and worldwide... If they even sell one million copies they've made their money back.. I expect it to do better most likely..

Simpsons first week was like 55k I think in the US and it’s sold 500K since release worldwide and Hilton’s sold 13K first week, looked it up on google but took a bit of digging…safe to say Britney’s first week will eclipse those with ease and tbh after seeing todays impact, first week worldwide could truly be massive
