If you respect Britney, you can't ship her with Justin. To support / ship the relationship is disgusting. 

When you love someone, you don't want to hurt that person on purpose for your own benefit. He build his solo career destroying her public image, playing the victim card, sharing all kind of details of their ***ual life and later, making fun of her mental health. 

Justin never respected Britney, not even when they were together and was cheating on her all the time with groupies (like Jessica Biel btw) and let's not go into other disgusting details that were revealed back in the day (I hope Britney talks about it in her book)

Britney deserves a good person by her side.

Respectfully, they themselves made amends years ago. We’re just rehashing a 20 year old relationship here. Until I read from Britney what her current feelings for him are, there’s no harm speculating on their songs and feelings back then.

Britney was the one hooking up with Justin still, she was papped leaving his house in the morning of March 2003. Will Britney touch upon this as well?

A month later he got with Cameron Diaz. Jessica wasn’t even in Justin’s radar until much later, in 2007.

Yep this song is most definitely not about Jessica. And at the end of the video after he catches the wedding ring and puts it in his pocket, you’d think that it would have a happy ending, but the woman he wanted to give the ring to is inaccessible

They made a mistake, tried to be responsible and mature to undo the mistake (********), they tried to make their relationship work 2 years after the ********, even planned to get married, bought a house together, had a bad breakup, hurt each other, did the on-off thing for several years, wrote songs about each other. Don’t forget Britney was the one praising him in 2016 and giving him a cheeky shoutout on IG in 2020.
