She doesn’t see herself as a major celebrity anymore and she doesn’t think average people care about her enough or would even recognize her for them to take photos of her. She doesn’t see herself at the caliber that she’s actually at. She has a very low opinion and view of herself, especially after 2006-2008. She obviously knows that there’s public interest in her still and that she has lots of fans, but she really does not think some random people at a bar would even care that she’s there. She’s incredibly insecure and it’s heartbreaking.

It’s not like her hair is irreparable or can’t be kept nice and tidy. It’d take less than an hour at a hair stylist to give her a blowout and wash. It’s an easy fix

Britney doesn't get a pass though when will people learn, she was excited to see that basketball player and approached him from behind and tapped him.

Britney should know that after several decades in the business she's going to be photographed, followed by paps, and people will have their phones out recording and snapping pictures.

It does suck but she just like any other celeb or reality star are going to have people wanting autographs, pics and vids.

she's said her hair's been damaged from wearing bad extensions

I don’t think she should sweat it if her hair isn’t nice and tidy when she’s out and about. It’s not like she’s shooting a music video or even posting it on instagram.

She can still wear it out, she posted a photo a couple of years ago. I’m sure she just feels insecure about her hair and prefers to have extensions

I think there’s a difference between criticizing clothes she wears for instagram videos (like those thongs or riding a horse topless) and her actual appearance like teeth or her hair when she’s just out and about. God I hope she never says something about her teeth, how awkward if she read people discussing her teeth here. That’s just super weird.

Backgrid is a photo agency that buys celebrity photos from amateur or freelance photographers to then sell to tabloids like the Daily Mail. The photos get uploaded to an archive and tabloids look through it and decide what they want to buy and publish. Given that the pictures definitely look like they were taken on someone's phone, it seems that the person sold them to Backgrid. The common belief that all Backgrid photos are staged is actually a myth, because even if someone did set up their own pap shots, it's not Backgrid who has arranged that, they are setting them up with the photographer. Backgrid is just the host for the image.
