She is working on music. Don't expect an album but she is working on music.

That's possible also, I'm not sure why they would say she's "negotiating" with them though, but maybe just negotiating with her label on making a new album.

Oh, I hadn’t realized (or had forgotten) that Sony owned RCA - that makes more sense now. 
 

I personally believe this rumor considering the sources and the timing. There’s been smoke about her recording for awhile now too, she’s definitely releasing an album at some point. I wouldn’t believe any rumors that involve details about the album just yet though, I’m sure nothings set in stone this early on. 
 

I think she’s over being the IT pop star and touring, so I still don’t expect any of that, at least not anytime soon. I think she’ll release the album with maybe a visual or two, if we’re luck a performance somewhere, and possibly a push from the label but that’s it. 
 

I’m comfortably (and super) excited!

When MYB came out, will.i.am said something about Britney having enough material to come up with an album so this is probably some sort of confirmation that we're getting more new music from Britney. Not necessarily an album, perhaps an EP as EPs have been a norm in the streaming era lately.
