Britney reportedly did not record the audio book of 'The Woman In Me'

I don't get how she is comfortable recording herself on IG all the time yet doesn't want to record an audiobook based on the story of HER LIFE!
 

She's ok with posting unusual videos on her IG but not ok recording an audiobook where no one is filming her btw?

Idk I've done a voiceover for a 5 minute safety video for work years back and I had to record my lines a ton for different effects and tones to pick from, mistakes, etc. and it was SUPER boring just doing it. 

 

I imagine it might be kinda taxing to have to read it back so maybe Britney was like "yeah no that's boring hire Keesha to do it I'm going to Cabo"

Not surprised honestly. I really think Britney has ADD and it would be so boring for her..Remember how every producer would say Britney would take like 30 mins to record a song 😂

Sucks but we all know she is taking a break and choosing very specifically what to give her energy to.

Disappointed but not surprised. I think it’s a missed opportunity on her end to really guarantee that what she wants to say can be heard exactly how she wants to say it. But, c’est la vie. I just really, really hope the book’s content isn’t watered down.

Very disappointing. Ooh well..won’t be buying the audiobook then. This would be a stamp of approval and having her voice heard as she always goes on about

That's weird.... Why make a book of your story if you're not going to be the one telling your story. Hopefully it's just a rumor

It’s actually the opposite. Many producers have praised her quickness in the studio. She’s all business, she comes in, lays down her vocals, and is done and out in no time.

I think what you’re thinking of is the one producer (can’t remember who) that said Britney once left the booth to go to the bathroom then just never came back lol. I don’t think she was feeling that song but didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings so she just dipped.

She gave her energy to write a book yet can't record the audiobook for it?

How does that make sense?

her recording herself & posting it on Instagram is not the same as having to relive the traumatic experiences she’s been through. She said she had to take a lot of therapy writing the book, so why you think she wants to read it for an audio book?  It’s not Britney I be confuse about it’s y’all no thinking a.s.s.e.s. She is a human you know & have feelings. You mad because she didn’t do this for your entertainment/pleasure?

The bashing against users for not liking something has been getting wild as of late. I was getting attacked yesterday just for saying I wasn't a big fan of MYB. It wasn't my fault the whole forum was flooded with MYB threads and those were the topics to talk about.

So many of us have been labeled fake fans, or not fans at all for hoping Brit would record the audio book herself and for not loving this new song.

In what world do we live in as fans that we have to seem as though we need to love everything someone puts out even if we don't.

Oh no! I was really looking forward to hear her voice. She could have recorded it by parts and then put it together. 

I don't think the latest decisions towards her career have been good.

First the William single nobody liked besides me lol and now the audiobook not made by her, I don't think is going to sit well with the rest of the fanbase.

I hope she changes her mind though.
