The amas performance was praised as she was the only artist in her 40s performing like a seasoned veteran. 

 

Someone reminded me out of all her contemporaries she came out on top. It just took her to see the others fall in the industry and out of public,hint why she said not being an overnight sensation and having to wait helped her in the long run. 

 

I'm like she really was telling the truth,  she was always like Avril a throw back but is getting her flower's, better late than never.

I miss the spunk and attitude she had. I don’t feel the fire anymore. She needs much better songs bc for almost a decade now she has sadly been boring. 
 

 

I am a big fan of her but absolutely agree with this. Her last decade offerings have been poor in comparison

No one is here for the "Mom Jeans" music, she needs to get some sass and maybe some anger back into her music because she's been so blah since Funhouse and I really felt like Just Like Fire was her swan song.
