Were Britney and Selena even on talking terms before Selena was invited to her wedding?

I know everyone else in the group were on talking terms but what about Selena? I can't imagine what they would even talk about. If there was anyone missing it would have been Miley. She was literally the first celebrity who brought awareness to the Free Britney movement. I bet it was Cade who made her invite Selena.

I always thought this whole Britney vs Seleana feud was some kind of fan fiction, but after Selena latest comments about "the girl who gave her the kidney" (her words) Im starting to believe Britney was actually throwing shade to her and she noticed Selena is not as nice as she pretends to be. 

This post just reads different after all this drama specially the last sentence.

Mom and Selena, Im so happy to have such a supportive family.

Why else would she have been invited if they didn’t talk before the wedding? She wasn’t just some random guest like some like to assume.
