Why do so many people hate Private Show?

Private Show is one of my faves from Glory

Yesterday I made a thread saying Touch of My Hand is overrated (which ofc no one agreed with me)

And someone told me to stream Private Show and Chillin With You since that's my taste in my music

No one likes Chillin With You but Private Show is like 100x better and it doesn't deserve to be put with Chillin With You

Why do so many people hate this song?

nothing is as bad as chillin with Lou, but private show vocals are just not right; also that “soul-ish” type of song does not work for Britney - IMO.

but babe if you like it, go listen to it and be happy, but also if you don’t like TOMH that’s also fine too. don’t listen to it.

not everyone will agree with you and that’s fine: thank god for that actually. it makes the world more fun, diverse.

Invitation, Man On The Moon, Just Luv Me… these are beautiful, soothing, almost lullabying songs… and then you have Private Show and that song hits my ears like a thunder

The song is a masterpiece but her overuse of the baby voice is like nails on a chalk board. Lol

I think the key might have been too high for her as well

For the most part of the song I don't like her vocals. Overall the music is kind of annoying.

lol i thought this was about the perfume (which btw is amazing)

 

but to me the part i only hate is the (twerk twerk it) part, the perfume commercial did a good job of highlighting the best parts of the song

I think the beat is fun and I’m happy with experimental Britney. I love Britney’s high pitched voice but it is a lil chipmunk like. But to say TOMH is not an incredible song immediately makes me question your taste and ear for music. But like what you like babe 💛
