Why are you surprised? You can tell she filmed like five music videos at the same beach the same day. All videos look the same, all songs sound the same.

What's surprising is that this is coming from the same artist that a few years prior released "Melodrama", which has so much personality and such a clear vision, with beautiful melodies. This, in contrast, is such a washed up, stereotypical and even pretentious hippie record.
