FTR This has nothing to do with the Grammys. 

Jan Wanner co- founded it. Considering Blackout is in the hall of fame and Rolling Stones top 500 list greatest albums of all time list. As well as BOMT and Toxic greatest of all time songs list. I predicted Britney will eventually get in, probably not first year. The back log of artist and bands is huge and the Media attention to this will grow. Probably more in demand than the Grammys that continue to lose relevancy. 
 

Unfortunately the female ratio of inductees is super low. Male artists are more likely to be accepted first year in comparison. Dolly, Lauryn Hill and Mariah should be inducted first for sure.

Christina will mostly be considered one of the greatest of all time vocalists and I’m happy for her.

You may like Xtina, she had some succesfull and popular songs but that's it. She did not change the face of pop music, she isn't/wasn't a trendsetter. She did not do that much of impact on pop culture. She was just a popular singer in 90s and early 00s and that is all. I live in Europe and people hardly remember her when you mention her name. I cannot name more than 2 songs by Xtina. Even lady gaga made more impact on pop culture than xtina. Sorry. 

Last time I heard xtina, she was a wedding singer, paid to sing at weddings. I did not hear from her or follow her after that. Such impact.
