This is just a list including artists since 1998 so I haven't counted acts like Madonna and Mariah. But if you want to know their stats, Mariah is #1 and Madonna is at #2 of best selling female artists in Asia.

The problem with Asia except Japan and South Korea it's mainly impossible to correctly estimate the sales which is a shame as she came into a time where Asia buying music was at it's last peak.

Very true. Unfortunately, ChartMasters is one of the only very sources that is able to find otherwise such hard information to find to their website so I have no choice but to use their figures when it comes to matters like that :miley_cyrus_stare_meme:

Enya is a less than Britney in albums - like only 5M kinda less both are at par!
