I did think about posting about this earlier on today, but when I did some research I couldn't find any mention of Tristar with regards to the IRS. Numerous sources mention only Comerica Bank & Trust as the executors/administrators.

"sort out postmortem rights" means Lou worked on managing Prince's publicity rights (the right to protect one’s image from being exploited commercially without their consent) after he died. Not related to tax.
