Did you realize that Kelly sings the 2nd verse in "Check On It"?

"Check On It" was released as a Beyonce song but was on the Destiny's Child #1s album.  After all of these years, I just discovered that the whole 2nd verse is Kelly but Beyonce lips to it in the music video.

I always thought it sounded like Kelly! We Britney stans know our ghost singers lol

(I think Kelly only sings parts of the second verse. I still hear beyonce doing some of it which must be why most people never noticed)

It sounds just like Kelly but questionable once it hits the "don't warn me" part

Kinda like myah did "background" vocals for Britney Jean  (jk not the same I know)

Kelly definitely sings the first line by herself, so I would call that lead.

I hear her singing other parts of the verse too, but it becomes harder to tell as the song switches btwn singers more quickly.

It was originally a Destiny's Child track and was only recorded for the #1's compilation, but was then added to the Pink Panther soundtrack and "became" a Beyonce solo track even though Kelly's vocals still remain on there lol
