Taylor Swift is not having it. 

Big Machine Label is apparently releasing an album of live performances from Taylor tonight. 

Swift says it's a recording from a 2008 radio show performance she did when she was 18-years-old. 

BML is trying to pass this off as something recent. 

Tay says she doesn't approve. So don't stream it kids. 

"Just another case of shameless greed in the time of Coronavirus. So tasteless, but very apparent."

I mean it's shady as hell, but it's business. Lots of artists have gone through the same thing. I remember when Michael Jackson owned the Beatles Catalogue and they were super butt hurt over it. I get that she's upset, but it seems like she's always involved in some sort of drama. Why doesn't she just buy her catalog from them? Seems like a weird time to be bringing this up again when the world is metaphorically on fire (except for Chernobyl, it's literally on fire.)

Good thing I have her albums anyway (digital and physical) so I won't have to stream her old music - that's the most support I can give her.  But i am absolutely not here for her re-recording her old albums. Have you guys heard the JoJo re-recordings? Ew, horrible. Terribly mastered, it's like recorded in a garage or something.

This has nothing to do with that. Everyone these days bringing the current world events into everything whenever they can. If anything there releasing it now due to people staying home cause of the virus to make more cash.

I don’t mind them! But quality isn’t the best. Probably because she was tight for cash. But good for her for re recording

I like how taylor is straight forward with her fans whether its good or bad. I wish britney was more staright forward with us, the word "conservatorship" hasnt come out of britney's mouth even once in 12 years, she could atleast tell us that she is happy being in a conservatorship and most of us would back off, all we have are rumours that she is refusing to work till she is free which is a good thing, but i wish she would say it in one of her instargram videos, we would all support her even more
