Is "My Only Wish (This Year)" the greatest Christmas song of all time?

My Only Wish really is such an enjoyable christmas song, I never ever get sick of listening to it each season. I feel like it becomes more of a classic as each year passes as well. We should request it on radios that play seasonal music and start a streaming/spotify thread on Dec. 1 like last year

I remember the first time I heard it was at Universal Studios Florida, the song was on a holiday loop playlist and my mind was blown that she had a Christmas song. This was either December 2000/2001, but it was playing in subsequent years along with other classics - although probably not anymore.

Mariah is the Christmas queen. I love MOWTY, but MC’s song is so iconic. One day o hope people appreciate Britney’s song more. I heard it in an American Eagle store once like 5 years ago.

Either Mariah's nor Britney's song would exist without the Wham! classic in my opinion. And Britney's song is also kind of inspired by AIWFCIY, they share the same cute sounding and feeling, but Britney's voice makes it really unique and bubbly. But Mariah is the Queen of Christmas, that's for sure. If only Britney would have made a music video for it in 2000. .... I think she would have the same impact with her song as Mariah..

The fact that this LQ, choppy mess of a video using Cheetah Girls clips and other flop videos has sort of become the Internet's referring music video for it.  34 million views and rising.
