Definitely but she's kind of a singles artist as well. Shout out to the critics once again: they DRAAAGGED Mariah for garbage songwriting on her first 4 or so albums. Butterfly is when they started taking her seriously.

You're right to some extent but the score doesn't necessarily mean it's her worst album (which clearly it's not), it just means it's the one that divided critics the most, some praising it, and some meh-ing it.
