Britney's dance sequence on Jane the Virgin

Am I the only one that did not like this? I feel like you can hear Britney counting every single step in her head as she goes and it does not flow well at all. And the arm movements are weird! I cannot understand for the life of me why she dances like this now! Dancing is in her blood and she has done it since she was a little kid, yet somehow she moves like this.....

"Step here, step there, 1, 2, 3, 4"

That is probably 100% what she was thinking in that moment.

It was a little skit on a show, I doubt the actor who plays Jane is a dancer, so they can't be doing crazy choreography, but I do feel its very....POM.

It's ******* horrific. I'm sure Gina Rodriguez isn't a professional dancer, so they had to do something simple, but again with Britney's favorite move "squat and wipe the air off her ***"?

its cool....kinda faded....the most difficult number she's done in a long long time, and sometimes she has to dare to suck.

Gina is not a professional dancer but she can dance a lot of tv shows make her show them some salsa moves and stuff. It's just the show is the type that in this case doesn't take it seriously. so they made a fun dance.

Squared Division's choreo is better than this lol, remember they choreo'd most of the high energy POM numbers like the Blackout medley, Work ***** and that original Toxic choreo.

This video has Charm LaDonna written all over it. It's very similar to the stuff she creates for Meghan Trainor and similar to her stuff from POM like Make Me.

I actually never thought she's counting her steps in this particular video, she looks very comfortable to me, and very cute. I think it was great for its purpose. I rewatched it now and I still don't see her struggle or something, she looks fine to me.

She doesn't necessarily look like she's counting steps but she does seem stiff. I'm not sure why she enjoys dancing like this now either. I'll never understand how she almost has no rhythm now. Despite being in amazing shape. She should be able to move her body with ease

It's no choreographer thing, it was probably Britney making up a choreo. it's similar to what she did on The Loose women in UK television last year.
