She didn't willingly change her voice, its probably because she's been living in LA so long her Southern Accent has faded a little, and her voice seems to carry a more nasal tone near the end of her words.

A big part of the change is the fact that she grew up in Louisiana and moved to places like NYC/LA. Your voice changes a lot when you move around.

I don't think she sounds as dramatically different as you guys say. She's had her weird moments especially in 2011 and 2012, but all i really notice is her accent fade a tad and her vocal fry getting worse. But her vocal Fry in singing has as well.

I think the major change is from when and after she was pregnant to having children. The saying is true, you really do give a piece of yourself to your own children, she lost a part of herself and we saw it, but maybe it was just because she had kids and was such a loving mom?

she's grown woman that is stuck in the conservatorship for so many years, I think this has changed her mentality

I have a secret theory that she had a deviated septum which caused the weird voice in 2011 and eventually lead to the nose job in 2013. Growing up a lot of girls "got their deviated septum fixed" and came back with tiny noses. Ah life in Los Angeles.

She seemed like a grown mature woman? Actually she's always had a childish personality, I remember people saying that even back then, she's still like that now, just toned down and quieter. She just got more bored with interviews.
